Sambalatte at the Smith Center for Performing Arts
Las Vegas, Nevada
NOVUS Architecture designed the new Sambalatte Coffee House located at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Las Vegas’s 61-acre Symphony Park.
The refined industrial chic design fits within the context of the Smith Center’s Neo Art Deco design style and the organic rawness of the Downtown Las Vegas 18b Arts District. The design features two (2) indoor lounge areas and cafe style seating for 48 patrons as well as outdoor patio seating for 36.
The interior space is rich in color and texture with an organic vibe produced by the use of reclaimed wood, raw steel, and polished concrete floors. A living green wall (also commonly referred to as vertical garden or living wall) is integrated into the space for improved air quality and acoustics.
NOVUS Architecture is architect and interior designer for the project and specified all fixtures, finishes, equipment, and furniture. Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2017.
