Las Vegas — The Board of Clark County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the design and development of a new Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the second Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas which will serve more families in need of a comforting and supportive place to stay during their child’s long-term recovery in Las Vegas hospitals.
The project, designed by NOVUS Architecture, features eight (8) new individual dwelling units arranged around the perimiter of the 1-acre site, providing a beautiful internal courtyard with play areas and gardens. The Administrative space and large Multipurpose Room are located near the entry.
NOVUS Architecture collaborated with the Ronald McDonald House Executive Team, and Grand Canyon Development Partners (Construction Manager) for most of the year on the project. Builders United has been selected as general contractor. Design and Construction Documents will be completed at the end of the year with construction commencing in April 2022.
