LIKUSA CORPORATE OFFICE HQ

NOVUS Architecture was selected to design the new Las Vegas Headquarters for Internationally renowned professional photographer Peter Lik.  Prior to starting the project, the owner utilized half of a 40,000 SF warehouse space for his offices but was quickly outgrowing the space.  Our team proposed to add a second floor in the unused portion of the warehouse capturing 20,000 SF of space to expand their offices.  To connect the first and second floors, we opened the floor, integrating a “communication” stair and a glass atrium which penetrates the roof, flooding both levels with natural daylight. From the centrally located, elevated conference room, another highly detailed stair leads to a rooftop deck showcasing great views to Red Rock Canyon.  A carefully placed concrete ramp runs along the back side of the elevated conference room providing ADA accessibility.  The program included collaborative office space for the Creative Department of 10 staff, a conference room, large work room, kitchen, and an Executive office for the owner. Natural finishes such as exposed concrete, unfinished elm wood from New York, and glass walls were used throughout to create clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic. A balance of warm LED lights and natural daylighting are used illuminate the space.
